In April, we will be talking about Patience. We define patience as waiting until later for what you want now.
Patience is a reflection of the character of God.
We live in a world of instant gratification: fast food, ATM's, smart phones that can provide instant information, the list goes on and on. How are our children ever going to be able to wait on the Lord for things in their lives if they can't even wait five minutes, without complaining, that the next level of their game download is too slow on their tablet?
In the month of April we will be looking at a number of people in the Bible that modeled patience and waiting on the Lord to reveal His perfect will. It is something we all need to do, to learn to wait on the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and His perfect plan for our lives.
Our memory verse this month is : "Wait for the the Lord! Be strong and do not lose hope. Wait for the Lord!" Psalm 27:14, NiRV
Please have your children join us for these important life lessons, 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00 am each Sunday. We love the opportunity to share Jesus' love and truth with them.
