In the month of January, we will be talking about Self-control.  We define Self-control as choosing to do what you should even when you don't want to.

Self Control is a response of the character of God.

As our children learn to follow Jesus, His love transforms them. His Spirit gives them the power to show self-control. We can all follow His example and choose to what we should do, instead of what we want to do.

Our main points this month will be that doing what you should can keep you safe, that we should think before we lose our tempers, we should choose our words carefully, and we always need to know when we should stop. This is what self-control is all about. And it is theses actions that honor God.

Our memory verse this month is : "God's power has given us everything we need to lead a Godly life." 2 Peter 1:3A NIrV

Please have your children join us for these important life lessons, 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00 am each Sunday. We love the opportunity to share Jesus' love and truth with them.
